Rescue Training
A one day end users course for
the innovative RIGGA Rescue system,
designed and manufactured by P+P.
The course covers relevant legislation and guidance
for the planning for Rescue, effects of falling and
Harness Suspension, Pre-Syncope and Syncope,
application of the RIGGA Rescue System,
Mechanical Advantage and Deviation,
physical technique of RIGGA Rescue Kit utilising
Fire Brigade Dummy, Anchorages and Rig for Rescue.
Course Aims
To provide candidates with the theoretical and practical knowledge to be able to work Safely at height. Course content covers relevant subjects including theory, related legislation, hierarchy of control measures, ie (collective) Fall protection Methods, Restraint - Work Positioning - Fall Arrest, including calculating Fall distances/clearance. Physical application of using Fall Protection Devices, Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessment, Relevant Access Equipment and the Physical application of Techniques including Anchorages, P.P.E and Inspection, Rescue plans and Rescue Equipment
Candidates
Operatives who have the duty of working at height, above and below ground level. This is not a confined spaces course, and is designed specifically for the applications of fall protection whilst Working at height.
Assesment
Practical throughout the period of course
Certification
On successful completion of course the instructor will issue a CHS certificate of attendance and ID card, both valid for a period of 3 years.
